Based upon playwright Karla Jennings' award-winning stage play (3 Los Angeles ADA/Drama Critics Nominations and winner of the international Do Gooder New Playwright Award), this darkly comedic television movie is about one woman's attempts to overcome infertility despite the odds. "Megan" faces the demons of her multiple failed in vitro fertilization attempts that test her relationships and the borderline between hope and obsessive desperation. But down her own "yellow brick road" to fertility, Megan is accompanied in a psychosexual romp through her fantasy life that includes: superher children, a hugely pregnant Greek chorus, mad preachers, sperm-machine studs in leather jackets, pharmaceuticals personified as valkyries, and margarita-anesthetized medical personnel.
